In July 2020 Borgo4case hosted the photoshoot of a small eco-sustainable wedding among the olive trees. The organization and selection of green suppliers – careful to minimize the environmental impact – was handled by the wedding planner Cecilia di Righe e Pois. The small wedding, or perhaps I should say the micro wedding, was designed for a few guests.
The refreshment table was set up next to the swimming pool. The characterizing element of the mise en place is the terracotta, in perfect rustic style, in line with the surrounding environment and the Tuscan tradition. We used a roof tile as an underplate, a typical element of local architecture. The floral arrangement curated by Elena Mainoldi Flower designer is made with locally grown and seasonal flowers.
The wedding cake is a small tiered cake with chocolate sponge cake and fruit enriched with blackberries, blueberries, figs and flowers. Made by Zucchero e Stelle, it is in line with the style of the environment and the colours of the wedding.
The bride and groom’s dresses are tailored, unique pieces hand made with high quality fabrics and unique color gradations. LINNEO‘s groom suit and bridal dress from Miranda di Sipio Atelier.
The symbolic ceremony was set up on the plains of the Borgo4case garden next to a centenary olive tree that acts as a backdrop to the altar. The natural context is made welcoming by fabric drapes and enriched with flower curtains. Instead of rice we have proposed the throwing of olive leaves.
